Thupstan Chhewang opened BJP’s account in Ladakh in 2014 when he won the Ladakh Lok Sabha elections. But his tenure came to an abrupt end when he resigned as MP and BJP member in November 2018 apparently because he couldn’t see his cherished “Union Territory status to Ladakh” dream coming true.
